It seems like just yesterday we were hating on singer Ariana Grande for licking doughnuts and saying she hates America. And while she did apologize, most of the world didn’t think it was good enough. But we might be able to forgive her after her recent interview with Good Morning America.
During the segment, the 21-year-old singer admitted that the experience was life-changing. “I think one of the biggest things I learned from that was what it feels like to disappoint so many people who love and believe in you. And that’s an excruciating feeling,” she said. “You have to remember that your words, your actions, have, you know, ramifications and you have to really think about what you’re about to say and do because it’s important. It’s important to so many people.”
She then went on to add it she didn’t mean a word she said. “My behavior was very offensive and I apologized. There’s no excuse or there’s nothing to justify it. I think that as human beings we all say and do things that we don’t mean at all sometimes and we have to learn from it, I mean, it’s part of our process. We have to learn from our mistakes and that’s how we grow.”
Back in July, Grande apologized after a video surfaced of her and her alleged boyfriend during Memorial Day licking donuts at a shop in California.
She seems to be moving past it as she’s making her rounds on television to promote her new fragrance. She was trending today after her appearance on the “Tonight Show” after she impersonated famous singers like Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera with Jimmy Fallon (you can watch that below!).
