Twitter, such a wonderfully helpful tool that essentially runs our lives these days. It yields great power, and you know exactly what that means: There’s some responsibility involved which has loosely evolved to mean “Don’t start a dumb Twitter beef that’s going to make you look really immature and you’ll surely regret later.” Alas, history repeats itself and literally nobody learned from the Taylor Swift v. Nicki Minaj epic VMA blowout.

In this corner of the non-VMA related world, Calvin Harris completely lost it when Zayn Malik retweeted a tweet about Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. The tweet was originally sent by @FemaleTexts and seems to be the same as the one below, noting Cyrus saying she would release her music for free while Taylor Swift has gotten into it with streaming giants over musicians not being paid enough.

Then ugly-duckling-turned-Armani-God Harris fired back, and fired back hard. He defended his boo by saying she wasn’t fighting for her own money. Let’s just say he was probably foaming at the mouth while writing these.

Jesus. Somebody is salty as hell. Malik responded and both poked fun at the DJ while defending himself.

Calvin tried to put out the flames by saying it was directed at the original tweet and not Zayn. Uh, sure.

Also worth noting, Malik’s former bandmate and dad-to-be Louis Tomlinson favorited Harris’ original tweet.

The shade!

Who do you think won this Twitter feud? Calvin Harris or Zayn Malik?
