There’s no denying that we are big fans of “The Voice.” It’s just an awesome show that focuses on real talent than appearance and we love that because it gives underdogs a real chance to shine. Case in point? This Kentucky teenager who completely stunned the judges during Monday’s show.
Jordan Smith, who attends college in Ohio, not only passed the blind auditions, he completely destroyed them when he sang his rendition of Sia’s “Chandelier.” This burly man sang like an angel, and the judges new (almost) right away he was gold.
Blake Shelton was the first to turn around, followed by Pharrell and Gwen Stefani. We of course always wait for Adam Levine to turn, because he is very choosey, so when he does, you know that person is good. “Oh my god, you shocked me,” Stefani said as she ran up to Smith on the stage. “You’re so amazing.. wow!”
Smith then received a standing ovation from all the judges and the audience. “I haven’t always been the coolest person,” Smith said.
Jordan!!!! Are you a unicorn? Did I just find a unicorn? #VoicePremiere

We imagine all of that is about to change, especially since he picked the coolest judge (in our opinion), Levine, to coach him through the show.
