If you’re a fan of 1995-2006 SNL years, then you know all about Norm MacDonald, Will Ferrell, Alex Trebek, Burt Reynolds… and Turd Ferguson on the skit Celebrity Jeopardy.

Well, we didn’t quite think we would ever hear the name Turd Ferguson on television again… until one real-live Jeopardy contestant named Talia made history by forcing Alex Trebek to say the name!

The last category during Wednesday’s show was “Oscar Nominated Songs.” The clue? “The song from a 1999 animated film about censorship had a word censored from its Oscar performance.” The real answer? “Blame Canada” from “South Park: Bigger, Better and Uncut.” Talia’s answer? ““What is the Love Ballad of Turd Ferguson?” She also gave a shoutout to her mom and gave the camera thumbs up.

Hello, that’s incredible.

And though we’re sure Trebek knew the reference, he didn’t linger too long on her answer or make any comment about it at all really… which makes us sad. But we’re super happy for Talia, who obviously didn’t win, but should be enjoying her 15-minutes of fame.

So many of us grew up on SNL, specifically the 90s and the early Millennium, so it was just a really fun moment for us… as for Trebek, yeah, we’re disappointed in him…
